Angel of Our Bitter Better Nature

Today is the third anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin (26 February 2012). This angel carrying a bowl of Skittles helped the Drew Theological School remember Trayvon after the verdict acquitting his killer in 2013. We present it here with a short prayer and without commentary, as a visual reflection.

Christ, forgive us for standing our ground when you ask us to kneel in humility.
